Hypnosis Can Help With That!

Hypnosis is a tool that helps you do the things you do better. Like a hammer if you were doing home repairs or carpentry. Along the same lines of this metaphor our thinking, self-beliefs, and attitudes could be considered an original floor plan, concept, or interior design. 

At one time these may have been useful, inspiring, or even state-of-the-art, yet over time they may be out of date or obsolete. What hypnosis does is to get a person into that state where the goal has already been achieved. In doing so the person’s inner resources and talents start to engage to bring them their goals easily and effortlessly. 

The hypnotist serves as a guide to the subconscious. One of the most important parts of a session with a hypnotist is for the hypnotist to teach the client self-hypnosis. As famously said by Charles Tebbetts, “All hypnosis is self-hypnosis”. 

It is something we do to ourselves and when in hypnosis the person will not accept or act on anything that goes against their morals or values. Part of the hypnosis session is dedicated to ensuring the client agrees with the direct suggestions to be utilized. During hypnosis, the client will enter into a relaxed state. 

Relaxing the body, relaxing the mind, and removing tension. In this relaxed state of focused concentration, the critical mind, the normal thinking, and the awareness aspect of our consciousness step aside so that positive direct suggestions can be introduced.
