Located in beautiful rural Sussex County Fairgrounds, in Augusta, New Jersey, the State Fair offers a large helping of farm meets fun. The Fair opens August 3 and is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. until August 11, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., August 12.

There is something for everyone, including of farm animals and a petting zoo for the little ones; quilts, canning, wood carving and baking exhibits for the older folk; and demolition derbies, truck shows and pulls, carnival rides and games, a horse show, and shopping for everyone in-between—plus fair food for everyone’.

Every day offers six barns of animals, a milking parlor, horse show classes, farm museum, antique engine display, rare animal educational exhibit, 4-H displays and presentations, crafters, vendors, honey show, art and photography show, vegetable and flower shows, landscape gardens and free entertainment.
