Sacred Autumn Ceremony with The Smiling Shaman
Jennifer Craig, known as the Smiling Shaman, will host a Fall Equinox Ayni Despacho Ceremony and Harvest Celebration from 1 to 5 p.m., September 22. The autumn celebration includes the ceremony and a sacred fire followed by a community potluck.
An Ayni Despacho ceremony is a reverent and love filled celebration traditionally performed by the Laika medicine people of Peru to ensure the continuity of life, love, abundance and of all good things.
“Fall is a potent time of reaping the fruit of our efforts and preparing for the inward pull of the approaching winter,” explains Craig. “A Peruvian Ayni Despacho Ceremony provides a beautiful platform for remembering, honoring and celebrating the bounty within and without. Within a powerful and sacred space of intentional and prayerful gratitude offering, it’s fun, beautiful, colorful and celebratory,” she enthuses.
Craig brings ancient gratitude ceremonies to the community and is available for private Ayni Despacho commissions for protection and healing, and to attract elements of life such as a relationship, a job or a home.Edit ModuleShow Tags
